winterseaspray: (surprise)
Apparently, I have 92 books on Audible, most of which I have read/listened to already. The following list is all the books I haven't read and which I intend to get through by the end of the year. Though, might be a tad difficult as I get two new books every month, and despite thinking I'm not going to find anything, I always to the day I get them. What's up with that? As I go through, I'll cross off books I've read.

The Janus Affair - Pip Ballantine, Tee Morris
The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle - Arthur Conan Doyle

The Casual Vacancy - J. K. Rowling
Snow Crash - Neal Stephenson

January goals = none fulfilled. Unless you count re-reading cause I did re-read the Hunger Games in prep for the movie... But I don't.

First month of the job went like this: firs two weeks, get up at 5 am to get to Framingham for training. Then I didn't have work for ages and ages which was WEIRD. Then the plant was in shut down so I would come to work and they'd be like "... we have... nothing for you to do." AWKWARD TIMES GUYS.

Thus far my job has involved cleaning and then the other night slipping in chemicals and getting sent home early. Awesomesauce. Have yet to work a full shift. Have still managed to badly bruise myself and breathe in toxic fumes. It wasn't like I needed my arms and lungs. Pfffft.

Anyways, that was January for you. Next up, my reading list for this year.

Oh right, feb goals.

1. Editing: Open the document and re-read the damn thing.
2. Reading: 1 book. Should be easy, I just started Mastiff, the newest Tamora Pierce book.
3. Schedule: Go to the fucking gym. Oh, should be more clear. Um. Go to the gym once a week. Seriously.
winterseaspray: (struggle)
In keeping with the last post, I shall now reveal my three goals for the next month:

1. Editing: Spend 5 hours a week editing. I'm not quite sure how I'm gonna calculate this, but we'll see.
2. Reading: 3 books.
3. Schedule: Go to the gym twice a week on a schedule.

Let's see how this goes.
