winterseaspray: ([scrubs] Dear Journal)
So guys, I have done it, I broke down and bought a camera. Its been almost a month without a camera, and its been hard. Not that I ever post pictures, but I love having a camera and taking pics, and I keep on getting bored, so a camera helps with that. ;) Its super sexy and I'm in love with it. :D Just in time for England too. w00t.

Yeah, so I'm leaving Monday, in the after noon, and so my whole family is running around packing. I'm waiting for the laundry to be done so I can finish packing up my clothes. The strange thing is that in addition to packing for England I'm also packing for college. I'm finding things and deciding if I'm bring it to England, and if I'm not, if I'm bring it with me to college. I also got rid of a lot of clothes.

Its strange knowing that I'm going to be leaving this place and going somewhere completely new and different and it makes me think about what's going to happen when I leave college and have to get a place on my own, and then... I don't even know. I feel that I shouldn't concentrate on it yet.

But I have. I decided to create a list of things to do before I turn twenty. Yes, I know that's less then two years away, but I feel like I should set some goals for myself. Here's the list:

1. Get high. Yeah, I know, not a very amazing goal, but I feel like its something that everyone should experience, and I think I would enjoy it.
2. Make out with someone. Never done it, want to do it. Also in this vien is have sex, but I don't really think that I should make it a "goal" yet. Maybe when I turn twenty, I'll start off the list with "have sex".
3. Become an RA. I really want to be an RA, not just because it helps lower the cost of college.
4. Get a job. Yeah, this is the sort of thing where you are like "Uh...", but really, its a goal of mine to get a job and start saving for the two years of college that I have to pay for, and the possible graduate school I will be taking out loans for. I am screwed finacally after Sophomore year, so I want to cut down on my costs.
5. Decide if becoming a doctor is what I really want to do. It's more of a requirement then anything, because otherwise I spend all my time in school and come out with a science degree and want to work as a professional traveler? I know it doesn't really matter what you study, but I want to have some idea of what it might be.
