Right, so crap happened today.
School started and I ran around before school, trying to decide whether or not I had to talk to Ms. Dilworth and then decided that I should, because getting a C on an essay is not acceptable in my world. Had math, in which I did not pay attention. Then History, where we did... thesis research. It was here I discovered my love for Justice Harry Blackmun. I mean, I knew he was cool, but not as cool as he was. (Blackmun was the Justice that wrote the opinion in Roe v. Wade, which is my thesis, got it?). I shall quote him when I get the website with his documents up at some point. In the far future.
Anyways. English, the conference with Dilworth, my free, Chem and then the death of French. Went home and did... nothing. Went to get Jasper. Supposedly he saw me passing him at the library and now my mother is all "Where were you going?" Me: o.0 "I was going to the library?" Anyways, whatever. Jasper has a girlfriend now, its not fun.
So work then. I get to work and its mad busy and I start to file stuff, of course. Lots to do. Then Shanghessy comes up to me and is like "There's a guy in room 7 that I don't know playing clarinet. I'm sure he's fine, but if he's still here in a while, you should kick him out. I don't know who he is." Me: WHAT???
I go up and it is indeed a random guy practicing or whatever. I eventually knock and tell him that he should leave soon, because I "have to close up that section". He seemed all right, but then he went to his car and just didn't leave. It was weird, he sat in his car and he was drinking something. Me: *starts to panic*
I got really skittish and didn't finish the sorting, instead just stuffed the papers in the right folders and waited for everyone to finish up. Pat Smith left and I locked up. And then a guy comes to the door. From the inside of the school. I had managed to lock Kate Finn and her student into the building. Mostly because the light down to the basement was off and so I didn't know she was still there, but still. It freaked / flipped me out.
*sigh*
I feel like such a bad employee now.
